After her parents died, Tatenda was left as the head of her household, raising her younger brother and sister by herself. Neighbors brought the children to Musha Wevana, and now Tatenda is a student in high school where she enjoys math, science, and geography. Tatenda helps at the home by cleaning and playing games with the younger children. Every Sunday, she goes to church with the mothers and the rest of the children from the home.
