Tanaka - Zimbabwe
The police found Tanaka, whom her family had abandoned. They tried to find some relatives to care for her, but could find no one. So, she came to live at Musha Wevana. Tanaka loves school and her favorite subject is Reading. At home, she loves to play ball with her friends. Her native language is Shona, but she is beginning to learn English in school. Every Sunday, she goes to church with the mothers and the rest of the children from the home.
1. Pray for her physical health and emotional well-being. 2. Pray that through the local church, she will come to know and to love Christ. 3. Pray that she will work hard and do well in school, so that she might have a chance for a better future.
