Salicious - Zimbabwe
Salicious and her brother were left on a farm with an uncle after both of their parents died. Soon after that, the uncle abandoned them and fled to a neighboring country, so authorities placed the siblings in the care of Musha Wevana. Salicious’ favorite food is sadza (a traditional Zimbabwean food made from corn meal), and her favorite subjects in school are math, English, and Shona (her first language). After school, Salicious likes to spend time reading after helping clean the house. When she grows up, Salicious wants to be a nurse. On Sundays, Salicious likes attending church with the rest of the children from the home.
1. Pray for her physical health and emotional well-being. 2. Pray that through the local church, she will come to know and love Christ. 3. Pray that she will work hard and do well in school so that she will have a chance for a better future.
